Why RHOBH Fans Want Lisa Vanderpump & Other OG Housewives Back

Fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are not feeling season 12 and are asking for the original cast members to return to shake things up. Although many dramatic events happened in the cast’s lives, such as Dorit Kemsley’s home invasion and Erika Jayne’s ongoing lawsuits, the focus has been on Sutton Stracke and Crystal Kung Minkoff’s confusing feud. Newcomer Diana Jenkins promised to be an interesting addition but has given the viewers nothing, so far, other than an air of entitlement.

RHOBH fans also miss the organic feeling of the earlier seasons. Although there was cattiness and drama between the ladies, they had genuine friendships with each other. When Crystal was introduced last season, she didn’t know any of the other women except for Kyle Richards’ sister Kathy Hilton. Crystal, who is much younger than most of the RHOBH stars, seems to have trouble connecting with them, especially Kyle and Lisa Rinna. Fans have noticed an obvious clique within the RHOBH group, and many find the new season boring and manufactured.

Reddit user biryani-mutton expressed their frustration with RHOBH season 12 and posted, “CAN WE JUST GET TO THE KATHY DRAMA. 7 episodes and im f******* bored.” Prior to RHOBH season 12 airing, it had been reported that Kathy allegedly lost her cool during a cast trip to Aspen, Colorado, and had used a racist and homophobic slur. RHOBH fans can’t wait to see the controversial moment play out on the show, but many wonder if it will even air since Kathy allegedly issued a cease-and-desist to cast members. Angry-Bowel_Movent wrote, “I’m still waiting for this season to start. As a matter of fact I am also waiting for the previous two seasons to start.”

Many RHOBH fans miss the old cast and are demanding their return. Queengnpwdrgelatine commented, “Let’s be honest here…it is boring af without LVP. She may have been a manipulative, gaslighting, s***-stirrer but it was never boring.” Another fan joked, “At least LVP had ponies and swans.” Katybops agreed that RHOBH needs a recast and said, “I just started a rewatch and it was so much better before this group of vapid mean girls. Bring back Adrienne [Maloof]. Even Brandi [Glanville] had more class than Rinna and Erika.” Gone are the days of Kim Richards antics and classic shady Camille Grammar, and fans are becoming nostalgic for the OG cast.

Lisa Rinna has steadily become one of the most unlikeable cast members in RHOBH. Many viewers accused her of stirring the pot, but it was after her throwing Denise Richards under the bus in season 10 that cemented her as the villain. Erika has also been slammed for seeming cold and uncaring about her estranged husband Tom Girardi’s victims in his legal case. Fans are also tired of watching the RHOBH stars and their glam squads, which seem inorganic and unnecessary, especially when they are just getting ready for casual activities. Viewers want to see women in their real lives with unmanufactured drama and many miss the older seasons of RHOBH.
