Bachelor: Jacqueline Trumbull Celebrates Vegas Bachelorette Party

Former star of The Bachelor Jacqueline Trumbull celebrated her engagement to Paul Seli with a Bachelorette party in Las Vegas this past weekend. Jacqueline competed on The Bachelor season 22 lead by Arie Luyendek Jr., and ended up leaving the season midway to focus on her educational pursuits instead. She finished the season in seventh place. Jacqueline also appeared on Bachelor in Paradise season 5, although she was eliminated in the second week.

Jacqueline and Paul became engaged in December 2021, after being in a relationship with one another for two years. Jacqueline is a current PhD student at Duke University, where Paul works as a professor. Both Jacqueline and Paul have a background in psychology, which has been a large part of the couples relationship. Paul made a surprise proposal to Jacqueline in California, when she took a vacation there with several friends to freeze her eggs.

As Us Weekly reports, Jacqueline and her friends celebrated her Bachelorette bash in Las Vegas on Saturday, June 11. "The group- including fellow Bachelor Nation alums Kendall Long and Maquel Cooper- attended a drag show at The Garden Las Vegas, hit up entertainment venue AREA15, enjoyed a delicious dinner at Superfrico, stopped by Marquee's beach club and saw Opium." From drag queens and beach clubs to delicious meals and variety shows, the weekend was certainly one to remember.

Jacqueline's journey is true proof that everything happens for a reason. While speaking to interviewers, The Bachelor alum opened up about how difficult it was for her to leave the show early. She stated, "I can't regret [leaving the show early], because the gamble paid off. But I did struggle with this for a long time. I didn't feel good about leaving." While Jacqueline may not have found the love of her life in Bachelor Nation as she once hoped to, she was led to him through her education instead.

Jacqueline is not the only Bachelor alum to find love offscreen. Becca Tilley, who had competed on The Bachelor season 19 and 20, has recently opened up about her relationship with singer Hayley Kiyoko. Another alum of Ben's season, Haley Ferguson, recently married Finnish hockey player Oula Palve after being unable to find love within the franchise. Many alums of The Bachelor come off of the show to find successful relationships in their own surroundings, with Jacqueline and Paul being no exception to that.
