Garden In! Trailer Shows Off Tranquil Gardening & Decorating

The cozy gardening game Garden In! was announced during the 2022 Summer Game Fest Guerrilla Collective 3.0 Livestream, offering a glimpse into tranquil plant care and decorating. Garden In!, which is coming to Steam soon, will give players a new way to care for and raise digital plants. Summer Game Fest showcases have updated players on a variety of new games, and the large number of cozy and relaxing titles seen during the Guerrilla Collective 3.0 Livestream may be perfect options for those wanting something easy to unwind with at the end of the day.

Garden In! is developed and published by a new publisher, Dramatic Icerberg, which only has two games under its belt. Dramatic Iceberg was founded in 2020 and is based out of Turin, Italy. Currently, it is working to bring more games to the table, and options like Racoonie: Legend of The Spirits and Garden In! indicate a focus on cozy and cute games may continue. Unfortunately, neither game is currently playable, so it may be hard for players to gauge what to expect from the indie studio in regards to Garden In!'s announcement.

The 2022 Guerilla Collective Livestream (via IGN's YouTube) shared the first look at Garden In!. The game is a resource management, gardening, and decorating simulation title that looks to be an excellent fit for fans of cozy games. Early gameplay footage shows different mechanics, including the ability to move items around, grow different plants, and expand the area players are working on as they progress through the story. It appears there will be different areas to unlock, like a small bedroom room, a classroom, and an outdoor patio. The plants will need watering and attention in order to grow, and players will be able to combine different plants to make new varieties.

Garden In! doesn't currently have an official release date, but the preview says "Blooming soon", indicating further details may be available in soon. In the meantime, those interested in Garden In! can add it to their Wishlist on Steam to get further updates as they become available. Additionally, while the game's PC version has been announced, it is unclear if there will be a Nintendo Switch console release at a later time. Because Garden In!'s gameplay appears to be similar to Animal Crossing: New Horizons' home decorating mechanics, a Nintendo Switch port after the game's release could be particularly exciting for cozy game fans.

Currently, there are many cozy games available for players, including Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons, and Animal Crossing, but it is exciting to see new titles coming to the table. Players looking for more relaxing games can also tune into the 2022 Wholesome Direct that aired alongside the Guerilla Collective Livestream to learn about additional cozy titles that will be coming in the near future. However, Garden In! will likely be a great fit for fans of plant management, gardening, and farming simulation games when it becomes available down the road.
