RHONJ Tamra Judge Says Luis Ruelas' Warrior Camp Video Is 'Weird'

The cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey can’t stop talking about Luis Ruelas’ video and former star of The Real Housewives of Orange County Tamra Judge recently shared her opinion on it, too. The new season of RHONJ just started and Teresa Giudice's fiancé is already causing headlines. In the season premiere, the cast discussed the strange video that resurfaced in July of Luis on the beach with a group of shirtless men. In the video, Luis is addressing an ex and apologizing for the mistakes he had made. The men around him, whom he calls his “brothers” are rooting him on and encouraging him to speak from the heart.

It was later revealed that Luis was at a men’s retreat known as a “warrior camp.” Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga mentioned on RHONJ that he knew about the camp and that Luis had invited him to go with him. When the video came out, a lot of fans voiced their concern for Teresa. Many thought the video was “weird” and “creepy.” However, Teresa’s RHONJ castmates defended Luis, saying that it was a long time ago and that they think he is a great match for Teresa.

On former Real Housewives stars Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s podcast, Two Ts In A Pod, Tamra weighed in on the video. She described, “There were bare-chested guys on the beach and he was apologizing. I don’t know. It was weird.” She went on to say that when it was addressed on RHONJ, Teresa didn’t seem too affected by it, but that the entire cast seemed shocked. She admitted, “I’m on the side of the entire cast, because if you need to go to those lengths to not freak out on your wife or girlfriend, oh lord!”

Tamra, who was on RHOC for eleven seasons, predicts that this video will become a huge storyline this season of RHONJ. Although Teresa seemingly wants to brush it under the rug, the entire cast was talking about the video and Tamra said on the podcast, “Oh god. It’s just a storyline. It’s gonna be the whole season. I can just feel it.” Tamra explained that if a Housewife has something newsworthy that comes out, it gives the cast and producers “some good information to dwell on for sixteen weeks.”

Despite thinking the video was “weird,” Tamra admitted that she feels a bit sorry for him. Still, she understood why the other RHONJ ladies were taken aback. Luis was already in the headlines for allegedly being emotionally abusive in his past relationships and had a lawsuit filed against him by an ex. However, Teresa seems unfazed by his shady past and has called him her “soulmate.” The two are happily engaged with plans to have Teresa’s daughters as bridesmaids in their wedding.
