Netflix's spy thriller In From The Cold has been warmly received by critics, with its Rotten Tomatoes score sticking at 83% at the moment. The show distinguishes itself by not just having a normal spy as the main character but one who is biologically engineered with the ability to shapeshift in order to carry out her missions effectively.

Most of the cast members give incredible performances, but since they aren't major stars, fans might be wondering whether they've been in other notable projects. A number of their faces should be familiar. Some have portrayed minor characters in a couple of popular movies and TV shows in recent years.

Levieva gives quite the performance as Jenny Franklin, aka Anya Petrova. She is an American working-class mother who is revealed to be a genetically enhanced Russian spy.

In The Deuce, Levieva plays Abby, a college student who strongly embraces feminism and left-wing politics. Levieva clearly doesn't stick to the same type of role since the characters from the two shows are way different from each other. While Jenny is a mother who has a teenage daughter, Abby is much younger. Nonetheless, Levieva plays both characters very convincingly.

O’Sullivan is Chauncey Lew, a former FBI Special Agent who is keen on investigating the mysterious Yaroslav Program. To make the mission a success, he brings Jenny into his team.

O’Sullivan also plays Eirik, a warrior who is part of the Norsemen's troops during one of the best battles in Vikings, the Battle for Paris. Like Chauncey, Eirik is also very outspoken. He doesn't hesitate to call out one of the Viking leaders (Rollo) when he betrays his people and sides with the Frankia king. However, O'Sullivan doesn't get to shine much as Eirik since he's a minor character who dies at some point during the battle.

Brice appears as the recurring character Chris Clarke. In order to avoid jail time for hacking, he agrees to work for Chauncey as his tech assistant.

Brice plays a police officer named Charlie Sutton in Watchmen. Sadly, his character dies in the line of duty while trying to stop a couple of baddies. Brice only has a few roles so far in his resume but all of them are of characters that are currently on the good side of the law. Compared to Sutton, his role as Clarke is much more interesting as he is not only portrayed as humorous but also has greater character development.

On the show, Miloslavskaya portrays Jenny, aka, Anya, during her earlier years as a Russian spy. While on a mission, she ends up falling for the daughter of a target.

Her role in The Bull is a much more laid-back one as the plays Tanya, the girlfriend of a troubled Russian gang leader. Similarities can be seen in both roles as both characters have interesting relationship arcs that come with a challenge. Young Jenny struggles with the hate that comes with being a member of the LGBTQ community in the early '90s as well as the potential repercussions of falling for a target's daughter. Tanya, on the other hand, has to try hard to tame her boyfriend.

Martin portrays Faina Orlov, the lover of a younger Jenny. She also happens to be the daughter of a Russian biophysicist who Jenny is targeting.

In the crime drama, Legends, Martin appears for 6 episodes as a petty thief named Peet'mat. Both Orlov and Peet'mat come with the stereotypes of young adults who initially have no clue of the darker events taking place around them. However, Peet'mat is a much more fleshed-out character with arcs that aren't restricted to romance.

Callejo portrays Andres Callero, the brother of a nightclub owner who also happens to be the leader of a terrorist organization known as Los Jinetes. Calleo recruits youngsters by convincing them that the Prime Minister is destroying the country.

In the highly popular Spanish thriller, Below Zero, Callejo stars as a thief named Ramis. In the role, Callejo once again plays to his strengths. The actor has been typecast in antagonistic roles for most of his career. But unlike Callero, Ramis is a likable baddie, choosing to do good deeds such as rescuing a drowning prison guard when he didn't have to,

Jeremy's character Su-Yin is the son of a diplomat. He also has a side job as a bartender and while at it, he tries to hook with Jenny and Orlov.

Jeremy's other notable role is that of Private First Class Jordan Wong, a soldier who fights during the Battle of Kamdesh in The Outpost. The release is not only a masterpiece but it also has what could be considered one of the best war movie squads. And Jeremy's character is a big part of it. Through the role, Jeremy proves that he can still shine as an actions tar.

On the show, Pérez is a lowkey villain. He plays a nightclub owner who is also a murderer keen on getting away with his crimes.

The actor has mostly been in Spanish language productions but he has a brief role as Jabir, the kidnapper of Ryan Reynolds' truck driving character in Buried. Compared to the nightclub owner, Jabir is a much more terrifying character. He does sadistic things such as placing the protagonist in a coffin and promising he won't leave till he pays a ransom.

Jobarteh plays Claire in In From the Cold. She is a teammate of Jenny's daughter, Becca. who also happens to be one of her fierce rivals.

In the BBC drama, Waterloo Road, she appears frequently as Ruth Kirby, a mischievous student with an extremely high IQ. Plenty of similarities can be seen in Jobarteh's two characters. Both are extremely competitive. They also enjoy putting others down hence they come off as quite villainous. Still, the actress does a good job of making both roles feel unique.

Lola plays Maddie Davis, the best friend of Jenny's teenage daughter, Becca. She helps Becca in her attempts to figure out what's going on with her mother.

As a child actor,  Loughran appeared in the UK drama where she played Mary's younger sibling. Though the actress isn't one of the most successful cast members of Skins, she sure does give impressive performances whenever she is given an opportunity. Her role as Maddie is a better one since she is the stereotypical but extremely reliable bestie.
