How to Find (& Catch) Dusclops in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Dusclops is one of the Pokémon that players will need to find and catch in order to complete their Pokédex. Dusclops is a pure Ghost-type Pokémon that was originally introduced in Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, and it's one of the slowest Pocket Monsters in the game. Additionally, like many other Pokémon in Legends: Arceus, Dusclops is capable of evolving through the use of a special item only.

Players can evolve their Dusclops into Dusknoir in Pokémon Legends: Arceus by using a Reaper Cloth on Dusclops like an evolution stone. The Reaper Cloth, like all evolutionary items, can either be obtained by finding it in Space-Time Distortions, from Ginter at the Ginkgo Guild, or by buying one from the Trading Post in Jubilife Village. Players who are looking to purchase a Reaper Cloth from the Trading Post will need a first get 1400 Merit Points, which can easily be obtained by returning the lost satchels around the Hisui region. After a satchel has been found, players can claim their Merit Points from the Lost and Found menu.

Similar to the Reaper Cloth, players can also find and catch Dusclops in any of the Space-Time Distortions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. While it was originally thought that Space-Time Distortions couldn't be spawned manually, players have discovered that this information isn't entirely correct. By loading into an area and doing as little as possible, Space-Time Distortions can spawn in Pokémon Legends: Arceus every five minutes or so. The game's internal clock is different than the external clock, so time progresses much faster in-game thereby triggering Space-Time Distortions to happen sooner. Like many of the Pokémon found in these areas, the Dusclops will be on a significantly higher level than if players just found it in the wild.

Fortunately, there are also a few other locations where players can find Dusclops in the Hisui region. In the Pokémon Legends: Arceus Alabaster Icelands, players can find and catch Dusclops at night in the Avalanche Slopes, as well as Arena's Approach. These are the two most common areas in the game for players to find the Ghost-type, but it's likely they'll be able to encounter one or more sooner in the Cobalt Coastlands.

As players complete the main story, they are required to find and capture a Dusclops in Pokémon Legends: Arceus in order to make Basculegion's favorite food. Although they only need to catch one Dusclops, players can head to the Cobalt Coastlands' Deadwood Haunt area to search for the Ghost-type at night. Both Duskull and Dusclops can actually be found in this area, and players may even find an Alpha Dusknoir in Pokémon Legends: Arceus here as well.
