Selling Sunset: Emma & Peter Reportedly ‘Not Dating’ Despite Being Spotted

After Selling Sunset's tense fourth season between Christine Quinn and Emma Hernan, Emma has been revealed to be spending time with Peter Cornell outside of the office. While season 4 covered a number of captivating storylines, one of the most talked-about ones had to do with Emma's involvement with an ex of Christine's. While both agents have vastly different recollections of the past, the two have yet to resolve their feud. A majority of the office has taken Emma's side in the argument, but Christine has neglected to retract any of her accusations about Emma or Peter.

Almost everyone involved in the office theatrics has come to the conclusion that Christine has not been upfront about what really happened, creating unreasonable drama regarding Emma's relationship with Peter. Shedding tears on-screen after feeling betrayed, Christine appears unwilling to let go of the past. While Emma has handled the accusations with maturity, she even admitted that she cannot be friends with Christine in light of her supposed fabrications of the past.

While some rumors say that Peter and Emma may be more than friends after being seen outside of work together, Us Weekly received confirmation from a source that the agents "are not dating." With a complicated history, Peter and Emma appear to have ended their romance on good terms, willing to work and even spend time together off the clock. Both Peter and Emma seem to want to avoid the drama with Christine all together, with Emma expressing her annoyance and shock about the situation. The reality star expressed that she was unaware of the drama with Christine until "the day [she] met her." She explained that "it was not pleasant" having to drudge up the past with Christine, especially with a handful of false accusations. With Emma believing Christine to be lying about her engagement to Peter, Emma shared how Peter (and herself) has seen through Christine's dishonest recollections, which are "not even negotiable" to the former couple. Remaining as just friends, Emma and Peter seem to have bonded over their confrontations with Christine and their journey to preserve the truth about their relationship. Unwilling to give Christine's story any space in their minds, the two have seemingly decided to ignore her version of the story.

Emma and Peter have gotten over the drama, for the most part, left "eye-rolling" their way through the situation. While the two are presently still spending time together, Christine seems less content with how things ended up. For a long while, Peter's identity was kept secretive, left out of the media and off of the Netflix series, but he has been openly connected to both Oppenheim agents. After this integral revelation for fans of the series, Christine explained that there is more to the story than anyone thinks, with plenty of things having happened "behind closed doors." Clearly frustrated with disbelief about the claims regarding Emma, Christine shared that she "hated that everyone thought that they knew [her] and thought that they knew the story." Still not revealing all the details of her romance with Peter, fans are left guessing about the truth regarding Peter's various relationships.

With hope for reconciliation come Selling Sunset season 5, Emma and Christine may find a way to put their differences aside. While the two have yet to make amends, fans will be eagerly awaiting to see how the two interact in the next season of the series. Peter and Christine's relationship still poses many questions, with many fans still debating whether or not Christine's tearful accounts have any shed of truth to them.
