90 Day Fiancé: Why Before The 90 Days Season 5 Is Making Fans Cringe

90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days has been featuring plenty of cringeworthy, controversial, and controlling relationships that make even the most loyal fans uncomfortable. Before The 90 Days is a spin-off that follows potential couples as they travel to visit their overseas love interests before they apply for the K-1 visa. While this show aims to find love, the cast for Before The 90 Days season 5 seems like they are on the wrong path.

Season 5 contains many jaw-dropping moments and uncomfortable scenes. From Jasmine Pineda and Gino Palazzolo clearly lacking trust to Memphis Smith and Alina Kasha continuing to pressure or disrespect their partners, viewers have grown concerned that this season will not be a successful one. As episodes continue to air, viewers have more insight into how these cast members and their relationships truly are. Unfortunately, it’s not pretty.

Jasmine has had relationship problems in the past and it’s clear that she has trust issues. That might be the reason why Gino is always on the phone when he’s outside of the house and has the potential to be around other women. However, viewers have become concerned as Jasmine continues to be portrayed as controlling even when the situation is normal. When Gino tried to tip the server, "You have something with the waitress?” Jasmine asked. Gino explained that it’s customary to tip hard-working servers. With that said, Jasmine clearly lost her patience and compassion, saying: “I stopped listening to you, like, five minutes ago.

Alina and Caleb Greenwood have been interacting for 13 years. Even though they hadn’t pursued their relationship until now, it’s clear that there has been a connection all along. While viewers are excited to see cast members finding love, fans still cringed at the make-out scene between the two. Although it was clear which direction the situation was going within the first 30 seconds, a subsequent two-minute scene and a long hold in the dark - that left little to the viewer's imagination - were far too revealing for most fans.

Viewers typically love strong women who know what they want, like Memphis. Hamza Moknii’s mother was clear about her rules regarding Hamza and Memphis sleeping in the same bed before marriage. It was more important to Memphis to ensure that they have an intimate connection, but that wasn’t the only time she blurred the lines with disrespect. When Memphis recounted the intimate experience from the night before, she had some harsh comments to say that made a lot of viewers drop their jaws in bewilderment. “The s*xy time last night was pretty fast… Is it always fast? You ej*culate fast… because you haven’t had s*x in a long time?” Memphis went on to more direct and vulgar words, driving the point home to Hamza. Even though communication is key in a relationship, there’s a nicer way to phrase things.

Alina and Caleb are an adorable couple. Caleb is very honest about his concerns, which makes him more likable in the eyes of viewers. On the other hand, Alina just wants to feel “normal” and is not too fond of how long it’s taking Caleb to warm up to her. From day one, she’s pressured Caleb to be more intimate. Even when he admits that he’s wary of the situation, it doesn’t seem like Alina is okay with the word “no.” As a result, viewers can’t help but cringe and voice their concerns over this situation.

Although the reality TV genre always intends to ignite scandals and cringeworthy moments, both fans and critics are hoping for a change of pace for future episodes. Overall, it appears that cast members like Alina and Jasmine have many red flags and need to work on themselves before they are ready to commit on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days.
