Porsha’s Family Matters: Porsha Williams Responds To Backlash From Viewers

Porsha Williams posted a series of cryptic responses to the viewer backlash over the season finale of Porsha's Family Matters. The reality star has been under fire for her actions on her solo spin-off show. During the finale, Porsha got into verbal spats with her cousin Lundi and ex-fiance Dennis McKinley. With her ending the show on such a low note after a season filled with drama, fans are bashing Porsha for her onscreen behavior.

If Porsha was hoping to gain fans from her spin-off, the exact opposite happened. While on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha had to share the screen with other ladies so there wasn't too much attention on her. Many viewers sided with her in her years-long feud with Kenya Moore. But on her solo spin-off, the veil was pulled back and the real Porsha got to show herself onscreen. Unfortunately for her, viewers weren't impressed. She has been a trending topic on social media due to all the drama she entertained on her show. Despite the show being about the family coming together, it ended with things falling apart.

Fans took notice of Porsha's silence on the season finale. She didn't promote the show and remained quiet while being bashed online. There was one tweet she chose to respond to that seemingly hinted at the disappointment she might be feeling over her portrayal on the spin-off. "Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to say goodbye to Porsha's career," an upset fan tweeted out. "She will be remembered as the #RHOA Housewife who made a fool of herself when given an opportunity that could've went to another deserving housewife! She will not be missed." The fan also included a GIF of someone burying a coffin. Instead of ignoring the shady tweet, Porsha decided to respond. "Damn a grave," Porsha replied. It was the only show reaction she responded to. It also was the only mention she's made about her show in the last few weeks.

In a since-deleted Instagram Story post, Porsha posted a cryptic quote about growth. "All challenges are an opportunity for growth and I am thankful for the chance to evolve." Porsha has continued to stay silent about her seven-episode spin-off and if there will be a season two. Some fans also noted how Porsha has yet to appear on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to recap the show. Viewers are speculating if there's even more drama going on behind the scenes. Considering Porsha's silence, she might be upset with how things were edited to show her behavior towards her loved ones. In the finale, Porsha stormed off during a meeting with her cousin Lundi after being called out for mistreating her. Only when seeing Lundi break down in tears, did Porsha come back and console her.

In the closing scene, Porsha got into it with Dennis after he suggested the courts get involved in their child custody agreement. Porsha wasn't happy and blew up at the mention of it. It came after she physically attacked him during the family trip to Mexico. Porsha admitted that Dennis apologized to her but she didn't give one in return. The lack of accountability displayed on Porsha's Family Matters has rubbed viewers the wrong way. Many have a new opinion of Porsha and it's not a favorable one.
