EVGA's E1 Is An Open-Air Gaming Rig With An RTX 3090 Ti

With graphics cards remaining a rare commodity, one of the best ways to snag a coveted GPU is buying a pre-built PC like the all-new EVGA E1. Multiple gaming PCs are available in the market with high-end graphics cards, including those from Alienware, Dell and other brands. The latest entrant into the field is EVGA's E1 gaming PC, which comes with the sort of muscle that gamers would expect from a top-end gaming rig.

EVGA is one of the pre-eminent graphics card vendors that also makes various other PC components, including motherboards, power supply units and more. The company has also pioneered several new technologies, including the first Heat Pipe Cooling system for graphics cards and 4-way SLI. While it is new to the pre-built PC scene, it has been releasing some exciting products of late, including this new desktop that comes with the very best that Intel and NVIDIA have to offer.

The full specifications of the EVGA E1 haven't been announced, but from the bits that have been revealed, it promises to be an absolute beast. The PC comes with a Z690 Dark Kingpin motherboard that suggests it is most likely powered by a Core i9-12900K Alder lake processor. However, the star of the show is the RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin edition with AIO hybrid cooling that features a single fan and a copper heatsink. It also sports a 1,600W Titanium power supply unit with a 3K carbon fiber finish, as well as a pair of 7th-gen closed-loop liquid coolers, one for the graphics card and the other for the processor.

While there's no word on the RAM and storage options, one can imagine that it will be offered with super-fast SSD storage and generous amounts of high-frequency, low-latency memory. Another notable feature is the set of three analog gauges at the bottom that shows the temperature of the GPU, CPU and the system as a whole. All the components are housed in an open-air carbon-fiber chassis with ample RGB lighting all around.

The motherboard is hung mid-air with a cable suspension system that gives the PC a unique look. According to EVGA, the frame design is constructed with 100-percent 3K plain weave carbon fiber. The PC weighs a super-light 2.76 pounds, which EVGA claims is the "lightest frame design compared to other chassis of the same volume." There's no word on pricing, nor is there a release date for the EVGA E1, but expect those details to be announced sooner rather than later.
