During The Real Housewives of New York City season 5, Luann de Lesseps was a pro at flirting, and fans can't forget her St. Barts escapade with a rather attractive pirate. Along with falling in the bushes, the countess took the Johnny Depp lookalike home for an evening of entertainment. Seven seasons later, Bravo fans are wondering what has happened to the entertainer following his dalliance with the reality star.

"Pirate" Tomas Ribeiro became famous for his good looks, and for possibly hooking up with The Real Housewives of New York stars, Luann and Sonja Morgan. Bravo viewers are quite used to watching middle-aged women fight over island men in the hopes of getting lucky. More than half the storylines have involved Luann taking Sonja's men. When the hook-up occurred, Luann was caught red-handed while speaking French and trying to be cool. Thanks to a hot mic moment, viewers heard a private phone call that left nothing to the imagination.

The small volcanic island didn't know what hit it when Luann had her one-night stand with a Captain Jack Sparrow lookalike. Even though Tomas recently revealed that nothing happened between the two, fans would still like to know what he has been up to since the women left the island. After the females departed, Johnny Depp's doppelganger continued to work at an eatery called Le Ti. Shortly after, he made the move to the Big Apple to study at the New York Film Academy. He was in school from 2013 to 2014 and earned a Bachelor's in Acting for Film.

Before moving to New York City, Tomas studied at the Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, France. After graduating from the New York Film Academy, he made the leap to Miami, Florida, where he still continues to work in the hospitality business. According to Tomas' Linkedin, as of 2022, he is still happily tending to his guests' every need. The former entertainer is still working in Miami, as a Director of Operations at the Riverside Miami. He has been there for one year and supervises all operations of all venues on-site, including one lounge, five restaurants, two bars, and a riverwalk terrace.

When it comes to his chance to get back together with Luann, it looks like their ship has sailed. Luann noted that she would be happy to fly down to Florida, but Tomas revealed that he was single and looking to stay that way. He shared that detail when he made a guest appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. In 200 episodes, Pirate Tomas is still the most talked-about side character on The Real Housewives of New York City. It will take a Herculean effort to depose him of that throne.
