Marvel's Spider-Man Player Captures Amazing Spider-Man In 4K

A talented Marvel's Spider-Man fan has just posted a series of impressive 4K screenshots featuring Andrew Garfield's suit from The Amazing Spider-Man. As with a lot of recent triple-A video games, Marvel's Spider-Man features a Photo Mode that allows players to capture and share stunning images of Spidey in action - or even just show off the Webhead in a humorous selfie. This would increase with the release of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered on the PlayStation 5, which added 4K graphics to the already visually impressive 2018 action title and allowed for the taking of screenshots that some fans have even mistaken for real-world cosplay photos.

Some Marvel's Spider-Man players and digital artists have taken advantage of the game's enhanced graphics in Photo Mode to recreate classic movie posters and video game covers from Spidey's past. These fans have taken to depicting Spider-Man: Shattered Dimension's reality-hopping team of Webslingers or Spider-Man's battle against Doc Ock in 2004's Spider-Man 2 with Marvel's Spider-Man's many unlockable alternate costumes. One of these costumes is the dark suit Andrew Garfield wore in the 2012 reboot The Amazing Spider-Man, though some players are still hoping that his brighter and more comic-accurate attire from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be added at some point.

A virtual photographer and Twitter user by the handle of Sarokeye recently shared a collection of 4K Marvel's Spider-Man screenshots that they captured using Photo Mode (via Game Rant). These visually impressive images feature the Amazing Spider-Man costume, with Sarokeye saying that they originally set out to recreate the movie posters from that film. Indeed, the screenshots feature a red-and-blue color scheme reminiscent of The Amazing Spider-Man's promotional artwork, showing Andrew Garfield's take on Peter Parker as he climbs walls and stands forlornly amid the backdrop of New York City.

Even as fans continue to create stunning photos of Spidey swinging around and posing for the camera in Marvel's Spider-Man, many players are looking forward to the next chapter of Insomniac's well-received Spider-Man saga. After much speculation, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was revealed during September's PlayStation Showcase livestream, promising a much darker tale of Peter Parker and Miles Morales battling classic villains like Venom and Kraven The Hunter. The former's presence among the cast of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has led fans to wonder if the next game will allow players to don Spidey's classic Black Suit, with a recent rumor suggesting that there will be Symbiote-themed variants of every available alternate costume.

One can only imagine what kind of Photo Mode-generated images Marvel's Spider-Man 2 players could create if this rumor proves to be accurate, but in the meantime talented artists like Sarokeye continue to impress with their Marvel's Spider-Man screenshots. This batch of Amazing Spider-Man-inspired images is a prime example, capturing the bluish color scheme and melancholy tone of Andrew Garfield's short-live run as Marvel's iconic web-slinging crime fighter courtesy of the PS5's stunning 4K resolution.
