Minecraft is home to many massive builds, and one player brought it to the battlefield by creating an entire battle scene, tanks and all. Since Minecraft's debut in 2011, the survival sandbox game has become a hit with players who love to build extravagant works of art, like this Minecraft reimaging of Picasso's Cats, or even players who just enjoy a simple bit of gardening.
Minecraft has become a way for fans from all over the world to connect and enjoy different building techniques. Some players go massive and recreate entire towns, while others build much smaller, more functional builds. There are endless amounts of possibilities for the imagination of a Minecraft builder and every day there are more and more impressive structures that are built. With the different updates that Mojang has released, there are more opportunities for players to come up with different and unique builds. The community behind Minecraft also helps to bring more of a unique style of gameplay. With the different Minecraft mods available and different texture packs players have created, each player can dive into the game with a different set of tools to create whatever comes to mind.
Reddit user Alexander-00AK recently shared their massive battlefield build in the Minecraft subreddit. This build featured at least nine different battleships, one massive land ship, four landkreuzer p. 1000 ratte (as noted in the comment section), and seven small tanks. There are turrets on each of the battleships that have a great amount of detail including what looks like smoke and fire coming from the barrels. On the land, the tanks have left track marks and there are some downed trees in the area that the vehicles have plowed over. As seen with many massive Minecraft builds, the tanks look incredibly detailed, and the builder even made sure to include the antennae for the communications equipment. The battleships are multilevel and when looking closely there is visible glass on the different windows to the different levels. There is an impressive amount of work that went into this build, especially getting each of the tanks and ships to look as accurate as they do to the real thing.
The original poster did not mention how long it took them to build this massive battlefield, but with how much detail is present, it seems as though it might have taken a while. The build was tagged as one that was made in creative mode, which means that the player had unlimited access to all of the different materials instead of having to mine and craft. Minecraft players can choose survival mode or creative mode to build their creations in, but choosing the latter doesn't make the build any less impressive.
It is always impressive and exciting to see what Minecraft players will think of next. The Minecraft community continues to find new and innovative structures to build and create. With every new update and pack comes a slew of new and interesting builds to see, and these projects will always impress and inspire other players to continue playing and building.
