Stranded Deep: How to Get More Fresh Water | Screen Rant

Despite being surrounded by water, fresh drinking water in Stranded Deep is harder to come by than players may think. Still, keeping thirst levels up is necessary if players want to survive and thrive on their new deserted island.  Players will often find themselves out in the sun when they reach a deserted island. Naturally, this will cause the thirst meter to drain faster than usual. In order to survive,  Stranded Deep  players will want to replenish the thirst meter whenever it is about to reach critical levels.  Players can check the thirst level by pressing the triangle button on a PlayStation controller. When low, the only place players can find fresh water at the beginning of Stranded Deep would be from coconuts. However, as players progress their survival adventure, they will be able to craft a flask that can be used whenever players want. In addition, Stranded Deep players will also be able to store water each time it rains on the island. Related:  How to Build a Shelt

The Rings Of Power Needs To Avoid The Hobbit Trilogy's Biggest Mistake

Amazon's The Rings of Power needs to take great pains to avoid The Hobbit trilogy's biggest mistake. First released on February 13th, 2022, via a Super Bowl advertisement, the first teaser trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power showcases a stunning variety of new locales, characters, and events across Middle Earth's Second Age . Many of these shots involve the clear use of CG, with a good chunk of The Rings of Power 's mammoth $462 million (per Vanity Fair ) season 1 budget directly spent on digitally producing these grandiose scenes. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power teaser certainly does not lack for scope, with the Amazon original trailer introducing audiences to never-before-seen sections of Middle Earth. A young Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) is shown scaling the icy walls of Helcaraxë before charging into battle against Morgoth's forces, while several sweeping shots depict the kingdoms of Númenor, Rivendell, and Khazad-dûm, respectively

Vanderpump Rules: James Kennedy Kisses Mystery Woman In IG Story

James Kennedy from Vanderpump Rules shared a social media post of him kissing a mystery woman. His new rumored relationship comes off the heels of James and Raquel Leviss's recent breakup . The pair announced the end of the engagement in November 2021 while filming the Vanderpump Rules season 9 reunion. Since the reunion didn't air for another two months, Raquel and James also announced their split on Instagram. During the reunion, Raquel admitted she was the one to initiate the breakup as she didn't see James as her soulmate anymore. James revealed he was taken aback by the breakup, even though the two had hardly been intimate since James sent Raquel those rage texts during the summer of 2019. In the end, Raquel knew it was best for her and James to end the relationship when they did. While they seemed amicable at the reunion, their relationship has definitely changed since then. The Cuphead Show!: 10 Best Game References Seen In The Netflix Series

As notoriously challenging and frustrating as  Cuphead   can be, it's quite surprising that the creators went with such a kid-friendly route for The Cuphead Show . Not that younger gamers can't enjoy the run-and-gun madness the game offers, but it's hard to imagine many of the show's intended audience has the patience and desire for difficulty. RELATED:  10 Best Boss Fights in Cuphead With all that in mind, the show still offers plenty of winks, nods, and references to the source material to satisfy fans of the original game. While some might go over a few younger heads, those who have spent hours getting their mugs blasted to bits will undoubtedly appreciate the attention to detail. In a sort of tribute to the original Universal Studios logo, the series begins with a sight all Cuphead- players should recognize. Right from the very start of the show, viewers are treated to the only reference (thus far) to the game's bullet-hell shooter levels as Mugman flies in

Selling Sunset: Emma & Peter Reportedly ‘Not Dating’ Despite Being Spotted

After Selling Sunset 's tense fourth season between Christine Quinn and Emma Hernan, Emma has been revealed to be spending time with Peter Cornell outside of the office. While season 4 covered a number of captivating storylines, one of the most talked-about ones had to do with  Emma's involvement with an ex of Christine's . While both agents have vastly different recollections of the past, the two have yet to resolve their feud. A majority of the office has taken Emma's side in the argument, but Christine has neglected to retract any of her accusations about Emma or Peter. Almost everyone involved in the office theatrics has come to the conclusion that Christine has not been upfront about what really happened, creating unreasonable drama regarding Emma's relationship with Peter. Shedding tears on-screen after feeling betrayed, Christine appears unwilling to let go of the past. While Emma has handled the accusations with maturity, she even admitted that she cannot

Truth Social Waitlist: What It Is & Why Your Number Isn't Changing

Downloading and signing up for the  Truth Social   app   is a pretty easy process — until you're placed on its waitlist and can't actually do anything with the app. Truth Social is yet another entry in the vast landscape of social media apps . The market is already dominated by Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and others. However, that hasn't stopped new apps from trying to break into the social scene. Locket Widget launched in January 2022 as a unique option for close friends, and Spam App is an interesting alternative for folks fed up with how bloated Snapchat's become. Then there's Truth Social. Released in February 2022, Truth Social is a Twitter clone that markets itself as an  "open, free, and honest"  social media site. It's similar to other platforms like Parler and MeWe, claiming to have free speech as its number one priority and not discriminate against users' political viewpoints. Whether or not that's true is up for

10 Best Games Based On Fairy Tales, According To Metacritic

Unlike myths or legends, fairy tales are a type of folklore that focus on short and simple fantastical narratives that typically don't mention any real-life individuals, histories, or locations. For example, "Little Red Riding Hood" is a fairy tale because it's short, has a simple narrative, contains unrealistic elements, and isn't believed to be a historic tale. RELATED: 10 Best Norse Mythology-Inspired Games Of All Time Long before literate societies, many people would orally share fairy tales, and some of those stories have survived to this day. With how powerful these tales are, it's no surprise that there're many games based off these stories without even mentioning Disney titles. Developed by the Japanese developer Punchline, which also created the anti-RPG Chulip and   was founded by a former Love-de-Lic employee,  Rule of Rose  is a 2006 survival horror game for the PS2. 90 Day Fiancé: Ben Rathbun Reveals How He Really Developed A ‘Wonky’ Eye

90 Day Fiancé cast member Ben Rathbun shared how he ended up getting a droopy eye and whether or not he wants to fix it with plastic surgery. 52-year-old Ben and his forbidden romance with 24-year-old Mahogany Roca has stirred up a fair bit of controversy for the former pastor. Ben leaving his four kids behind to chase a girl old enough to be his daughter has been called out by fans all season. Moreover, neither Ben nor fans were sure whether Mahogany was even real until she showed up on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days episode 10. And now that the mystery about Mahogany has finally been solved, the next big question is what's going on with Ben's eye. Mahogany became a thing of curiosity to 90 Day Fiancé viewers as soon as Ben spoke of their relationship on the show. Ben showed heavily filtered photos that belonged to the Peruvian native Mahogany while admitting that she was too shy to do video calls. Mahogany insisted that Ben shouldn’t visit her as soon as he reached

Jeffrey Wright Is Both Right & Wrong About The Batman's Sequel Villains

DC's upcoming film  The Batman is giving the Caped Crusader a new life outside of the DCEU, but actor Jeffrey Wright feels the movie's sequel should have new villains - and he's both right and wrong. Starring Robert Pattinson as billionaire vigilante Bruce Wayne ,  The Batman is the first movie to feature a new actor as Batman following Ben Affleck announcing his departure from the role after his last turn in  Justice League . It also marks the first Batman solo film since Christian Bale last suited up in 2012's The Dark Knight Rises . While Affleck leaving after reprising the role one last time in the upcoming Flash movie has left a lot of questions regarding the future of Batman and all of the Bat Family characters in the DCEU, The Batman's departure from the shared universe gives the Matt Reeves Batman franchise a lot of freedom. In an interview with Screen Rant, Jeffrey Wright  - who plays Detective Jim Gordon in The Batman -  addressed that freedom. When

Bumblebee 2: Why The Transformers Sequel Hasn't Happened

Despite the first movie being a successful and well-received installment in the Transformers franchise, Bumblebee 2 has yet to happen. Not long after Bumblebee’s release in 2018, there was talk of a second film, but it remains to be seen if it’s still part of the studio’s plan. As things stand, there’s been no official confirmation that Bumblebee 2 is even in development. Directed by Travis Knight and starring Hailee Steinfeld, Bumblebee was a major departure from the main Transformers franchise , as it took the spotlight away from Optimus Prime and his team and focused on just one Autobot. Ultimately, the decision to explore Bumblebee’s adventures in the 1980s proved to be a good move, even if the film’s box office numbers couldn’t match Michael Bay’s movies. That being said, its $468 box office haul against a smaller-than-usual budget made it a modest success. Plus, its favorable reviews were a welcome change from some of the earlier installments, particularly Transformers: T

Justice League Test Footage Of The Flash's Powers Shared By Zack Snyder

Zack Snyder gives fans a behind the scenes peek at the Justice League   test footage for the Flash's super-fast running. It says a lot about the power of Snyder's filmmaking that  Justice League is still sparking conversation more than four years after it was first released. Of course, it helps that 2021 saw the long-awaited premiere of  Zack Snyder's Justice League , the director's famed final cut of the movie. Fans had campaigned to see Snyder's version of the DCEU film since the theatrical cut - which was largely overseen by Joss Whedon - debuted in theaters in 2017. Spurred by plenty of behind the scenes content from Snyder himself, fans tirelessly called for Warner Bros. to release his finished  Justice League , which the studio finally did last year. The 4 hour-long movie arrived on HBO Max in the spring and sparked fervent conversation among fans. Many praised Snyder's take, especially when compared to the theatrical  Justice League ; the director'

Superman's Greatest Threat is A Smart Green Lantern, Not Batman

He may have fail-safes prepared to take down Superman , but Batman has nothing on a clever Green Lantern's  practical use of a Power Ring. Clark Kent's powers may make him one of the Earth's greatest assets, but there's always the fear those abilities could be used for devastating purposes. As one moment from Injustice: Year Two shows, the first line of defense against Superman shouldn't come from Batman, but rather, an ingenious Green Lantern. Batman has historically been one of the most prepared characters in the DC Universe, planning for any number of worst case scenarios. Recognizing the potential of an out-of-control Superman, Bruce Wayne has created several countermeasures in order to subdue him. From varying forms of kryptonite to technology to increase his own strength, the Dark Knight knows exactly what to do if he needs to take the Man of Steel down. Pokémon Legends: Arceus Hisuian Growlithe Distribution Codes Available Now

Hisuian Growlithe distribution codes for  Pokémon Legends: Arceus are now available at GameStop locations, giving new players a chance to add it to a team early. While getting Hisuian Growlithe via a code may be exciting for some, it is a curious choice for a distribution code event, which usually focuses on Legendary and Mythical Pokémon giveaways. However, those who are hoping to snag the event Growlithe will want to act fast, to ensure they get a code before supplies run out at the available locations. Hisuian Growlithe is a fresh take on the Kantonian Fire-type that has remained a fan-favorite through all Eight Generations of the Pokémon  games. The regional form of Growlithe is a Fire/Rock-type, and can only be found in the Cobalt Coastlands on the Veilstone Cape. Because the Cobalt Coastlands is the third area in the game, it can take a while before players are able to add the powerful Pokémon to their team. Additionally, the limited spawns can make filling the Pokédex entry

Nightwing is Joining Forces With The Titans' Greatest Enemy

Warning! Spoilers ahead for Teen Titans Academy #12 It looks like dark days are ahead for the Teen Titans now that Nightwing has seemingly left to join their greatest rival. Following the prevention of the apocalypse teased by the Titans'  Future State  series,  Teen Titans Academy is now dealing with the fallout in their latest issue along with the identity reveal of DC's newest iteration of Red X. However, the resulting conflict has dark consequences for Dick Grayson and it's teased that he'll be allying himself with a classic foe in order to seek revenge. In  Teen Titans #12 from Tim Sheridan and Tom Derenick, it was revealed that the rogue student who had taken Nightwing's old Red X identity was Brick Pettirosso , a student who's been featured throughout the entire series thus far, looking to take down the Titans from within. This is because Brick was led to believe that Nightwing was his father which motivated him to seek revenge having grown up in G

Why Drake Bell Won't Be In The Live-Action Fairly OddParents Show

Paramount+ has announced that a new live-action Fairly OddParents series is coming to the platform, but it is unlikely that Drake Bell will reprise his role as Timmy Turner. Bell starred in all three of the franchise’s live-action films ( A Fairly Odd Movie , A Fairly Odd Christmas , and A Fairly Odd Summer ), portraying a slightly older version of the perpetually prepubescent protagonist. As of now, it appears he will not be returning for the live-action series. Fairly OddParents premiered now more than two decades ago, running for 159 episodes from 2001 until its end in 2017. The new live-action series will incorporate elements from the original, including a handful of recurring characters like Cosmo, Wanda, and Jorgen Von Strangle, as well as Fairly OddParents creator Butch Hartman’s return to the franchise following his departure from Nickelodeon in 2018. The series will center around new step-siblings Viv Turner and Roy Ragland, casting Bell and his version of Timmy aside

Thor 4's Villain Can Justify "Thanos Was Right" More Than Infinity War

Marvel has confirmed that the Thor: Love and Thunder villain will be Gorr the God Butcher, and this villain can justify Hawkeye ’s “Thanos Was Right” more than Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame did. Despite the fact that Thanos died twice in Avengers: Endgame , his actions and ideology have continued to hang over the MCU as it has entered Phase 4 . Even when new Marvel movies and Disney+ TV shows don’t directly deal with the fallout from Thanos and the Blip, they still regularly discuss the way that he affected the universe. In Avengers: Infinity War , the long-teased Thanos finally appeared to be the villain that would put an end to the MCU’s Phase 3. He explained that his plan to use the Infinity Stones to kill half of all life in the universe was based on his homeworld of Titan where resource scarcity eventually caused the population to die out in an unpleasant way. Many viewers questioned the logic behind this choice and suggested that Thanos might reasonably spend

Martian Manhunter's Badass Former Identity Returns To DC Canon

Warning: contains spoilers for "A Face in the Crowd Part Four" in  Action Comics #1040! Thanks to his shape-shifting abilities, the Martian Manhunter has assumed a variety of personas and now his most badass version is returning to DC canon. In Part Four of “A Face in the Crowd,” appearing in Action Comics #1040, the Martian Manhunter faces an opponent from his past, who bears a grudge against one of Martian Manhunter’s personas—the Bronze Wraith. Whether or not the Bronze Wraith was in continuity was open to debate—until now. Since his first appearance in 1955’s Detective Comics #225 , the Martian Manhunter has been one of DC’s most enigmatic heroes. Much like Superman, he is one of the few survivors of his race and, like Superman, he possesses a fantastic suite of powers, such as flight, super-strength, heat vision and shape-shifting. Thanks to this last ability, the Martian Manhunter was able to pass as human for years, prior to the emergence of costumed heroes. He h

Cobra Kai Stunt Team On How They Work With Actors Without Martial Arts Skills

The Cobra Kai stunt team has explained how they make their stunts and fight scenes come to life while working with actors with varying martial arts skills. Cobra Kai is a Netflix original series that premiered on May 2, 2018, originally airing on Youtube's streaming service before landing a new home at Netflix. The series is a spin-off of  The Karate Kid and follows Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) 34-years after the events of the 1984 All-Valley Karate Tournament. Cobra Kai  explores what happens when Lawrence attempts to bring back Cobra Kai by opening his own dojo and is soon met with resistance from LaRusso's dojo, Miyagi-Do. Cobra Kai  has many traces of the  Karate Kid films' sentiments with its emphasis on karate, feuds, love triangles, and classic cars. However, the series also departs from the franchise in many ways, one being that it explores a bit darker territory as it delves into decades-long feuds and desire for vengean
