Love Island USA Edits Out Date Between Tyler & Mady | Screen Rant

Tyler Radziszewski hit it off with Valerie Bragg and Sereniti Springs when he arrived on Love Island USA, but apparently, he also went on a date with Mady McLanahan that was edited out of the episode. As host Sarah Hyland and narrator Iain Stirling have mentioned, much more happens between the islanders than fans get to see on the show. Apparently, Tyler felt a connection to Mady that was pushed aside in order to show his chemistry with Valerie and Sereniti. Tyler is the newest male islander on the show and arrived not long after Valerie and Mady's shocking entrance.

The female Love Island USA contestants were immediately mesmerized by Tyler's Tarzan-like appearance, and the male islanders started worrying if one of them might end up single. Luckily, most of the female contestants stayed loyal to the men they were coupled up with, but some saw Tyler's arrival as an opportunity to switch things up. Valerie was done with Jesse when he admitted that he was more interested in Deb, and Sereniti was ready to move on from Felipe after realizing their lack of a connection. Therefore, both girls found themselves drawn to the long-haired contestant and hoped he felt the same way about them.

What Love Island USA didn't show fans is that Tyler also felt some sparks between him and Mady. During episode 6, Tyler was told to go on two dates and chose Valerie as his first and Sereniti as his second, but according to a photo from the episode, he also invited Mady on a date. Twitter user @bartaboy tweeted a photo from the unaired scene, writing, "I'm ctfu they edited out they date." The fan also added that they aren't a big fan of Mady and didn't mind having her date edited out.

The reality dating competition series is filmed in real time and airs Tuesdays through Sundays. Since Love Island USA contestants are together 24/7, it makes sense that not everything that goes on can be included in the 45-minute-long episodes. While the two went on a date, Tyler didn't seem to feel too much of a connection because when it was time to choose a partner, he was caught between Valerie and Sereniti, with Mady already partnered with Isaiah. Ultimately, he went with Sereniti, dumping Valerie from the island and sending her home.

Perhaps Love Island USA didn't feel Tyler and Mady's date was important enough to air. After all, Tyler seemed to know all along he was going to choose Sereniti. Luckily, Mady's still on the island for now and has the opportunity to connect with her new partner, Isaiah. However, no one on Love Island USA is tied down for good, and there's still a chance she and Tyler could get to know each other better. Maybe by the next recoupling, Mady and Tyler will choose each other, and their next date will make it to the Love Island USA final cut.
