Summer House: Danielle Reveals If She Regrets Sharing Kyle’s Comments

Summer House star Danielle Olivera expressed regret over how she shared her castmate Kyle Cooke's comments about his relationship with Amanda Batula. Danielle, a product manager in New York City, has been on the show since its second season. The reality star previously dated her castmate Carl Radke, who is dating Linday Hubbard.

Summer House season 6 is currently airing and has packed in plenty of drama for viewers, particularly surrounding Kyle and Amanda's often tumultuous relationship. Although Kyle and Amanda officially tied the knot in September 2021, the road to the alter was rocky, as Kyle faced multiple allegations of cheating and cast members worried about the potential of the relationship to last. In a season 6 episode, Kyle aired some of his grievances about Amanda to Danielle, including comments about Amanda's poor attitude and the couple's questionable compatibility. Danielle later relayed Kyle's comments to her costars Ciara Miller and Paige DeSorbo at the 50 Shades of Summer party. Amanda's friends worried about her relationship, especially in light of Kyle's excessive drinking and partying.

Danielle appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen where an audience member asked her if she regretted how she handled the situation by sharing Kyle's comments with her castmates, and inadvertently with Amanda. "I don't think I did the right thing, but I also think I was in an impossible situation," she answered. She went on to explain why it was difficult to approach Amanda directly, adding, "But it was one of those moments where I really didn't know how to bring it to Amanda because I love Amanda, but we're not as close, and she doesn't necessarily always take feedback very well. So I thought the people that might know how to approach it with her the best way were Ciara and Paige at the time. So that's why I told them."

In response to the doubt cast on his relationship with Amanda, Kyle took to Instagram to address the episode and his feelings. "Last week’s episode was really difficult for me. I spent the last 3 years trying to help my DREAM GIRL make OUR dream wedding come true," he captioned a photo of the two of them. "For me, Amanda will always [come] first. I have a life partner who is AMAZING in all the best ways but also makes me want to be the best version of me for HER." The couple appears to have survived the rough patch and ultimately made it to their wedding day regardless of speculation that they wouldn't. Kyle and Amanda share dogs together as well, having adopted two puppies over Valentine's Day.

Kyle and Amanda may be enjoying wedded bliss together, but they admitted they will be viewing season six of Summer House separately. They mutually decided not to relive their emotional and turbulent moments onscreen together. Hopefully, the couple will be able to leave their past behind them and turn a new leaf as they enjoy married life.
