Fans are enjoying the dynamic between the husbands of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but the drama between the housewives is threatening to break up “The Wolf Pack.” Joe Gorga, Frank Catania, Bill Aydin, Evan Goldschneider, and Joe Benigno were the first group of Real Housewives husbands to form a tight bond. They often get together when the RHONJ ladies have a girls’ night out, and viewers always think the men were more fun. Even though there is constant drama between the RHONJ women, the husbands tried to stay out of as much as possible and never let it break up their bromance until RHONJ season 12.
Tensions between the housewives have been steadily mounting for a few seasons, and the husbands inevitably got pulled into it. In RHONJ season 11, Teresa Giudice brought up a rumor that Jackie Goldschneider’s husband Evan was cheating on her. Teresa eventually apologized to Evan, and he graciously forgave her. However, when RHONJ season 12 began, Margaret Josephs revealed that Jennifer Aydin was still digging into the rumors, trying to get dirt on Evan. Infuriated, Margaret exposed an affair that Jennifer’s husband Bill had ten years ago. During a recent episode, Melissa Gorga and Jennifer got into a fight, which almost led to a physical altercation. The other cast members broke it up, but Bill was shown conspicuously walking away.
Jennifer was upset that Bill didn’t stick around to defend her after the fight. Joe also felt slighted by the plastic surgeon, as he felt Bill should have called Jennifer out for her behavior. When the Wolf Pack met up to hash things out, it seemed as if most of the men had an issue with Bill. The father of five tried to explain that he tries to stay out of Jennifer’s issues, but Joe argued that she was “out of control” and wrong for putting her hands on Melissa. Bill countered their statements by asking if they thought Margaret was wrong to bring up his affair, but Evan jumped in and reminded him that Jennifer tried to dig up dirt on his alleged affair last season.
Things got heated when Evan asked Bill if he thought Jennifer was a good person for stirring up trouble on so many fronts. Bill thought the RHONJ husbands were wrong for making him choose between his wife and his friends, causing him to storm off. Many fans called out the Wolf Pack for pressuring Bill to talk poorly about his wife. They slammed Joe for being upset that Bill didn’t defend him when Jennifer called him a “Little b**** girl” after he got involved in housewives drama.
Fans were upset to see the fallout between the RHONJ husbands at the end of Tuesday's episode. Their friendship was even praised in a past Watch What Happens Live episode, where they came up with their own taglines. Fans are hoping that the RHONJ husbands will be able to mend fences. With the addition of Luis Ruelas and Tiki Barber in the mix, perhaps the men will get some fresh perspective on all the drama. Most of the fans are pro-Bill at the moment, despite knowing he had stepped out on Jennifer years ago. Hopefully, the husbands can come to some sort of resolution in the future. Viewers will not stand for the Wolf Pack splitting over the petty RHONJ drama.
