On Temptation Island, couples’ relationships are put to the ultimate test, and many of the men from season 4 are likely to stray from their partners. These coupled-up men are facing a lot of temptation, and although they might say they want to save their relationships, their resolve may quickly crumble when gorgeous singles are trying to distract them.
This season, there are four couples whose relationships are in precarious positions. The duos are Gillian Lieberman and Edgar De Santiago, Ash Lamiroult and Hania Stocker, Iris Jardiel and Luke Wechselberger, and Ashley Rodriguez and Lascelles Lagares. All of them have reached impasses in their relationships, and all hope that Temptation Island will help them to find clarity.
In episode 1, the couples arrived on the island and talked about what brought them onto the show. They also discussed what they hope to get out of their time there. The couples were introduced to the hot Temptation Island singles who will be staying with them, and they eventually said their final goodbyes to each other. In episode 2, the coupled-up men and women settled into their separate villas and finally started to spend time with the singles. These are the paired-up men, ranked from the least to the most likely to cheat.
The problems between Lascelles and his girlfriend Ashley stem from his inability to show his emotions. Lascelles has admitted that he tends to stuff his feelings down, and Ashley is questioning whether they even have a real emotional bond. Though Lascelles was flirting with multiple single women on their first few nights in the villa, he also maintained his focus about why he was on the show. Temptation Island's Lascelles is open to the process but Ashley is still at the front of his mind, and he’s less likely to cheat than the other men.
Edgar and Gillian have “broken the trust” in their relationships. Edgar cheated on Gillian, and Gillian sent intimate and explicit texts to an ex of hers for months while she and Edgar were together. Neither one is without fault, but Edgar’s demeanor suggests that he’s especially committed to making his relationship work. He was devastated at the first bonfire when he saw Gillian consider taking off the promise ring he gave her. If Gillian resists temptation, Edgar probably will too.
Iris’ biggest problem with Temptation Island's Luke is how flirty he is with other women, and it’s true that Luke’s eyes lit up when it was time to pick his first date. Luke seems like someone who is easily distracted, and without Iris around, someone else could easily catch Luke’s eye. He also feels that he doesn’t get validation from Iris, and if another woman fulfills his emotional needs, he could quickly forget about his girlfriend. The potential to cheat is high with Luke, but if he maintains focus, he and Iris could still end up together in the end.
Hania and Ash have admitted that they’re very physical people, so they’re both extremely likely to cheat on each other. The primary issue in their relationship is distance. Ash from Temptation Island will soon move away for her career, and the couple isn’t sure if they can do long distance. He proposed trying out an open relationship before the show, so other women are definitely on his mind. Ash also revealed that Hania doesn’t even introduce her as his girlfriend, although they've been together for a year and a half. He doesn’t seem as invested in their relationship and will likely give in to temptation before the show is over.
Temptation is the name of the game on this show, but that doesn’t mean that each one of the couples has a free pass to cheat. The season 4 couples came on Temptation Island to see how devoted they are to their partners and their relationships. It's unlikely that all of the couples will decide to stay together. However, if they avoid Temptation Island's pitfalls, they could walk away stronger than ever.
