Nick Frost, Aimee Lou Wood & Nicola Coughlan Cast In New Historical Comedy

It has been announced that Nick Frost, Aimee Lou Wood, and Nicola Coughlan have joined the cast of the new historical comedy Seize Them! Much is still unknown about Seize Them!, however, it has been revealed that the story will take place in the Dark Ages and revolve around the toppling of Queen Dagan by Humble Joan. The story will follow the Queen as she becomes a fugitive and embarks on a journey to reclaim her own land. The film is to be helmed by Curtis Vowell and is written by Veep writer Andy Riley. No release date for Seize Them! has been announced as of yet.

In a recent article from Empireit has been revealed that three British comedy actors have been added to the cast of Seize Them!. Frost of the Cornetto Trilogy, Wood of Sex Education and Coughlan of Derry Girls and Bridgerton have all officially joined the cast. It has been announced that Wood will be portraying Queen Dagan, while Coughlan will take on the role of Humble Joan. Frost's character is named Bobik who so far has only been described as a “shit-shoveller who wants more out of life." 

While much is left unknown about Seize Them!, more information is likely to come soon. The movie began filming earlier this week in castles in Kent and Wales, so the film is definitely on its way. Seize Them! is a movie that is certainly not to be missed by any fan of British comedies, and fans of Frost, Wood, and Coughlan, the breakout of Bridgerton, will want to keep their ear to the ground for a release date.
