Below Deck: Erica Rose Says Gary Deserves Better Than 'Two-Faced' Daisy

Gary King and Daisy Kelliher have gotten closer over the past couple of months, but Erica Rose thinks that Gary is too good for his Below Deck Sailing Yacht co-worker. The two yachties have had a complicated relationship since meeting during season 2 of the Below Deck spin-off. Bravo viewers watched as Gary and Daisy bickered throughout their first season together, starting from Daisy, as Chief Stew, requesting help from Gary and the rest of the team. While the two ended season 2 amicably, fans were more than surprised when the trailer for BDSY season 3 dropped as one shot shows Daisy and Gary making out. Despite teasing a potential relationship, the two confirmed that they are not dating just in time for the premiere episode of season 3, which shows Gary and 3rd Stew Ashley Marti kissing.

Erica's March 7 appearance on Parsifal III is not her first introduction to reality television. Before joining the BDSY crew, Erica starred on The Bachelor season 9 in 2006; the now 37-year-old was eliminated during week 3 by Prince Lorenzo Borghese before later appearing on the short-lived spin-off Bachelor Pad. Married to Charles Sanders since 2018, Erica, her mother, and some friends sailed around Croatia on Parsifal III during Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2. The crew was less-than-impressed by Erica's attitude and high demands as a charter guest and she clashed with several people, including third Stew Alli Dore. While most of season 3's crew tried to be diplomatic upon hearing Erica Rose would return for a Spain vacation, Daisy was open about her feelings, calling Erica and her posse "disrespectful, exhausting, emotionally draining, and unpredictable."

While Erica has a cordial relationship with Gary, the star confirms to Page Six that Daisy's feelings towards her are more than reciprocated. “Gary could do so much better,” Erica states, before continuing, “All the girls on the boat were interested in him — even my friends. Gary’s a really great guy and Daisy is just not a really great person. She’s actually really two-faced.” Calling Daisy desperate and starved for attention, Erica claims that Gary and the Irish native are incompatible, explaining, “Gary and Daisy are just two very different people. Gary is not a fame whore.” Doubling down on her comments, Erica took to Twitter to serve Daisy with a backhanded compliment, writing, "You're good at your job even if you're literally two-faced. Keep slaying and spread kindness."

As for the Daisy, Gary, and Ashley love triangle, Erica tells Page Six that Daisy and Gary only hooked up because Daisy was looking to get a reaction out of the other woman. “You could just tell she really loved watching Ashley get jealous and I truly think that’s part of the reason she decided to hook up with Gary,” Erica says. Implying that Daisy's agenda was purely self-centered, the Texas native continues, “Ashley told me that she was into Gary before he even kissed Daisy, so it seems like that was part of her motivation to go after Gary." On the other hand, Erica also theorizes that Gary kissed Daisy as a rebound; the 33-year-old once dated Alli, who happens to be one of Daisy's best friends. According to Erica, Gary told her that he wasn't over Alli and was "vulnerable."

Erica Rose has a lot to say about the Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 crew, but some fans are unsure how reliable her claims are. With most of the episodes yet to air, all eyes are on Gary and Daisy; many are waiting for the now-infamous kissing scene that will no doubt be shown later this season. This type of fling is not the first to occur on Parsifal III — Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux and Dani Soares are still being discussed — but it does add tremendous entertainment value.
