Love After Lockup: Indie Staying With Harry Despite Red Flags

Indierra “Indie” Treadwell admits how "rough" it was watching the latest episode of Love After Lockup, but says she is sticking with Harry Valez despite the red flags. Indie is head over heels for her "spiritual husband" Harry. Love After Lockup season 4 follows their journey after Harry's release from the halfway house where he admitted to cheating on Indie. But even after watching Harry confess to hooking up with someone else and telling his friend that he isn't exactly ready to settle down, Indie says she will continue to "pour" into her cheating spouse.

Indie is determined to make her relationship with Harry work. She moved to Ohio for a second time after a failed first attempt during Harry's time in a halfway house. Indie resorts to her spiritual advisor to make her life-altering decisions including relocating to Ohio with her young daughter to be with her "spiritual husband" Harry. Indie's family is against the relationship and Harry's sister has also expressed her concerns. But Indie ignores the feedback and is focused on building a life with Harry. Her daughter calls him "Poppy Daddy" and in Indie's head, they're all one big happy family.

In the Friday, March 18 episode, Harry meets with a friend and opens up about cheating on Indie in the halfway house and being reluctant to settle down so soon with Indie even though he does love her. After watching the episode back, Indie took to her Instagram Story to share a message captured by Reddit user u/keylimeeee. "This episode was rough," Indie admitted at the start of the post. "I never thought I would fall in love with someone like this," she added. Indie noted that despite all of the red flags, "Harry is my person and I'm going to be with him," she declared. India apparently believes that all Harry needs is patience and he will "evolve into the man God wants him to be," she said.

Indie has been facing criticism for her seemingly delusional approach to dating Harry. But despite the negative response, Indie says she will continue to "pour into him and water him so he can grow." Even Harry's own sister expressed her concerns about Indie having her daughter call Harry "daddy" prior to meeting him in person. Indie's mother and siblings have all tried to warn her about Harry's violent past and the risks that come with dating someone who is fresh out of prison. Harry is also a few years younger than Indie and hasn't experienced freedom as an adult. Coming out of jail getting into a serious relationship isn't exactly what Harry is ready for her.

Fans who read Indie's post reminded her that "Harry already has a mom," and doesn't necessarily need her to help him grow. Indie's choice to stay with Harry and create a happy home will be a topic of conversation. The Love After Lockup couple has more brought terrain to tread and Indie's bounty hunter mother has her eyes on Harry. If he cheated once, he is likely to do it again. Indie might be patient with Harry, but her mother has other plans.
