Back in 2010, a franchise was born when so-called supervillain Gru (Steve Carell) dipped his toes into fatherhood with Illumination's  Despicable Me . Now, 12 years later, Gru gets something of an origin story in director Kyle Balda's  Minions: The Rise of Gru , which also serves as the sequel to the first  Despicable Me prequel. Released in 2015,  Minions was an unexpected box office smash, becoming the then-second-highest-grossing animated movie of all time. Pandemic delays have pushed  The Rise of Gru back considerably, and now it finally arrives. Whether it was worth the wait will ultimately be determined by the audiences it was made for, but it is certain that this is a sequel that does manage to surpass the original. While Minions: The Rise of Gru still can't entirely justify itself, it does provide a far more heartfelt and fun outing than its predecessor. Adapted from a six-part miniseries of the same name from Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s original comic, the Prime Video Original's adaptation more than lived up to the hype. Man of Steel fans are sharing beautiful DCEU shots on Twitter to celebrate star Henry Cavill. Released in 2013,  Man of Steel  marked the first Zack Snyder DC superhero film, introducing audiences to Cavill's take on Superman. The romance genre is in trouble as of late, and this list only proves it. The only noteworthy romance movies that have been released lately were not fans' favorites, and it seems like the best bet for lovers of the genre is to wait for the release of Thor: Love And Thunder , which according to Taika Waititi, won't shy away from romance (via Screen Rant ). A new Mega64 video that tells the Majin Buu Saga from Dragon Ball Z in five minutes features gaming icons Hideo Kojima and Gabe Newell giving Goku their energy for a Spirit Bomb, along with other gaming and Internet personalities. Mega64 has gradually been recreating the Dragon Ball Z Sagas in five-minute skits, with both the Frieza and Cell Sags completed years ago. Mega64 is among the longest-running YouTube channels, with its earliest videos being uploaded back in 2006. When the  Pokémon Trading Card Game 's collaboration with   Pokémon GO  launches in Summer 2022, players will be able to collect a handful of new TCG cards that are based on actual items and mechanics from the Niantic game. The special crossover set was first teased in 2021 with the Pokémon GO Professor Willow TCG card , which was given out as a promotional item on the official Pokémon Center store. There are very few Hollywood brand names that have as strong a reputation for quality as Pixar, as the animation studio has been delighting audiences young and old for almost three decades now. Of the 26 films the company has released, only one is certified rotten on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. The worst-reviewed movies in Pixar's history would be counted among the best-reviewed for other animation studios like Dreamworks or Illumination, but fall short in comparison to the best Pixar has to offer. Nothing founder Carl Pei has confirmed rumors that the company's first smartphone , the Phone (1), will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G+ processor. The 77G+ is an upper-mid-range SoC that's mainly similar to the standard 778G. It comes with an octa-core CPU comprising of 4x Cortex A-78 performance cores and 4x Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.
