Young Boba Fett Actor Reunites With McGregor & Christensen in New Image

Young Boba Fett actor Daniel Logan reunited with Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen for a photograph at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022. Logan portrayed the younger version of the original trilogy bounty hunter in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones. McGregor and Christensen played Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker throughout the prequel trilogy.

Taking on the role of a younger Boba Fett in 2002, Logan's portrayal of young Fett saw him raised by his father, Jango (Temuera Morrison) on Kamino, until Obi-Wan arrives to investigate a recent assassination attempt on Senator Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman). Fleeing to Geonosis, Boba witnesses his father's beheading at the hands of Mace Windu (Samuel L Jackson). The Clone Wars animated series would see Logan return to voice the young Boba, following his journey from his vendetta against the Jedi, to his early years as a bounty hunter, leading into the character Morrison would portray in the spin-off series The Book of Boba Fett. Just over 20 years since he first appeared as the younger Fett, Logan reunited with two of his Attack of the Clones co-stars for a photograph.

Logan is one of three actors to physically portray Fett on-screen, alongside Morrison and original trilogy actor Jeremy Bulloch. Bulloch sadly passed away in December 2020, with the actor being paid tribute to in the credits of The Mandalorian's season 2 finale, as the episode was dedicated to Bulloch's memory. Logan paid tribute to Bulloch in a Twitter post following news of the actor's passing, thanking Bulloch for what he had taught him through their interactions at conventions. In January 2022, Logan shared a throwback video of himself, Morrison, and Bullock during a panel at a previous convention appearance, in which the three actors sang a song from The Mickey Mouse Club, and where Logan stated how each actor shaped his own portrayal of the character.

As Star Wars celebrates the 20th anniversary of Attack of the Clones, seeing three of its stars reunite is sure to be a welcome sight for fans of the prequel generation. While he didn't share a scene with Christensen, the two young actors did strike up a friendship on set when filming. Between supporting his fellow Boba Fett actors and reprising the role in other media, Logan has continued to be a beloved part of the Star Wars franchise family even 20 years since his debut.
