Season 4 of The Circle came to a close this week with a joyous season finale, which was full of iconic friendships and a deserving winner that fans are thrilled for. This season was truly a lovely one that was complete with The Spice Girls, contestants catfishing as their parents, and so much more.
Fans of reality TV love to take to the internet to create memes for other fans to enjoy, and it makes this type of show even more fun to enjoy in real-time. Although fans might be sad that there are no new episodes, they might be able to comfort themselves in these memes
In an absolutely hysterical "brain fart" moment, Alex, who is normally so strategic, is absolutely stuck. While panicking after a tricky golf question Bru posed, his brain seemed to stop working momentarily.
While scrambling to type a message and be quick, he begins typing a response that just says "my dad is huge." Then he stared at it for a moment before deciding to scrap it, but fans at home really noticed and got a good laugh. No one knows what he was trying to say, but @KeyTenavast creates hilarious context around it.
In a similar hiccup to Alex's moment of desperation, Bru gets tongue-tied at the very beginning of the game. He can't seem to figure out what to say when first setting up his profile.
What results in a very awkward minute of Bru starting sentences, interrupting himself with new ones, and talking in between. The person trying to type his message was probably feeling the stress. As @BallerinaBlaire points out, this was a pretty puzzling moment considering Bru has a successful career in radio.
While there are plenty of Alyssa fans who won't agree with this sentiment, many viewers of The Circle do not have Alyssa placed as a fan favorite because of her swift work to eliminate Crissa (who is very likable and popular with fans of the show).
Everyone who watches The Circle has probably felt the feeling @theravencamille is illustrating in this tweet, because it is pretty common for players to get eliminated very shortly after campaigning pretty hard to get someone else out. It happens multiple times in this season, and some fans really love the perceived karma of it all.
Listening to Frank talk is one of the great joys of watching The Circle season 4. He really speaks out any and every thought that comes to his mind, and somehow they are all hilarious.
Even when Frank isn't trying to be funny, he somehow words things in a funny way. When he is trying to talk about love and self image, he rambles off something about Pringles which probably comes from some kind of saying, but the ways he words and says it comes off as an innuendo. He caught himself and fans like @_dreamitbeit caught it too.
In a Netflix reality TV show like The Circle, the drama is always high, and season 4 delivers. While it doesn't quite reach the dramatic heights of season 2, it certainly has its moments.
Perhaps one of the biggest upsets in the group is Alyssa's elimination. Multiple players get upset that Yu Ling picked Rachel, but Bru doesn't get the same heat for not picking Alyssa. Every person felt really justifies in their reactions, but it was ultimately just social politics. Fans like @saiyruh were very confused by the double standard that surfaced.
The building that The Circle is filmed in is one of the wonders of the world to fans, mostly because it is hard to understand how the secrets of the show aren't revealed when everyone is under the same roof.
The biggest wonder is how the players don't hear each other through the walls, especially since players are known to get very loud, yelling with excitement at any given point. Even if they were on different floors, it would seem the apartments would have to be soundproof for them not to hear anyone at all. @watchwithash_ says it best.
Much like Alyssa, Alex/Nathan is another player this season who is not a fan favorite based on reactions on the internet. Alex was the most strategic player this season, which led to him trying to come after fan favorites like Frank.
Ultimately, this nature of his led to his demise when he wasn't picked to be in the finale. While Alex was devastated, fans who didn't like his play style were relieved (as @ksthoughtss demonstrates in this meme featuring the very popular and always funny Kamal template).
If fans were wondering why Alex from season 4 of The Circle felt so familiar, it's because there was a season 1 player named Alex...who was also a catfish...and also has similar hair and glasses and fun shirts.
The resemblance is pretty uncanny, so it's interesting that it wasn't mentioned by the host of the show. While The Circle isn't always known for calling back to previous seasons, it did so this season when discussing Trevor and DeLeesa. At least @underrockb0ttom pointed it out for fans who might've felt like the coincidence was going ignored.
Some of the players on this season of The Circle, like Bru and Crissa, were already at Instagram influencer status in real life before ever coming on the show. Many others stars had sizable followings before coming on the show.
While it's kind of interesting to discover if people who became influencers in real life would be able to replicate their success in the confines of the game, @itssmayraaa makes a good point- it's fun to watch regular, every day people play the game. It's worth mentioning that the word choice of "regular degular" makes this meme hysterical.
Who could forget "Emily's" terrible makeup fail from season 2 of The Circle? While it certainly still haunts the nightmares of fans, some competition has entered the game.
Many players and viewers at home were horrified by the monstrosity that Eversen painted during the portrait game. In an effort to take down Yu Ling and frame Nathan while doing so, he really came after everyone by painting something so evil-looking. It's only right that the one and only @JamesJeffersonJ from season 3 put these artworks side by side where they belong.
