Frost damage builds are some of the most powerful that Fatemakers can create in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, and they're perfect for all types of enemies. Although Frost damage is highly effective against skeleton enemies, the effects of the elemental damage type are almost too good to pass up when fighting all types of enemies throughout the Wonderlands. In addition to taking out skeleton enemies quickly, Frost damage has the added bonus of slowing enemies and freezing them solid when they've sustained enough of it from any source. Furthermore, enemies that are frozen solid also receive triple the amount of melee damage, making it easy to shatter them apart with a single swing.
Weapons or Spells in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands that deal Frost damage can come from any source in the game, whether it be from defeating a boss, common enemies, chests, the Chaos Chamber rewards, and more. Since there are so many types of weapons with added abilities in the game, it can be challenging to find the combination of weapons that complement one another while also inflicting Frost damage upon enemies. Additionally, weapons that inflict Frost damage and have added abilities will see that their added abilities deal Frost damage as well, such as those that create a dagger storm or bomb when thrown for a reload.
To create the best Frost damage build, players will want to make sure the first class they select in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is the Brr-Zerker. The Brr-Zerker class inherently excels in dealing Frost damage through its Action Skills called Dreadwind and Feral Surge. Dreadwind allows Brr-Zerkers to bring out a massive war axe to consecutively swing in circles while simultaneously boosting movement speed and making them immune to slow effects. Feral Surge uses the same war axe to launch Brr-Zerkers forward at an enemy, slamming the axe down upon them to inflict Frost damage in an area-of-effect attack. Furthermore, Feral Surge also instantly kills enemies when their health is at a certain percentage, resetting the cooldown of the Action Skill immediately.
Although it is not the typical class combination players might expect, the best Multiclass option for Frost Damage is the Brr-Zerker and Spellshot. The Spellshot class in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has two Actions Skills as well called Polymorph and Ambi-Hextrous. Ambi-Hextrous simply allows the user to equip two spells, the second taking the place of the Action Skill. Polymorph allows players to turn most enemies, aside from bosses, into "sleep," which fly around aimlessly for a limited time. Any Fatemakers that shoot the Skeep have a chance to cast a free Spell that is equipped to their slot. Enemies that are immune to the Polymorph will have a spell cast upon them instead. Additionally, casting a Polymorph Spell grants a stack of Spellweaving, and the Spellshot will gain two stacks for casting Polymorph on an immune enemy.
Spellweaving is the Spellshot's class feat, which increases Spell Damage whenever a Spell is cast or a weapon is reloaded. When combined with the Brr-Zerker class feat in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, called Rage of the Ancients, players have the opportunity to quickly stack up their gun, spell, and Frost damage at the same time. Rage of the Ancients causes the Fatemakers to become enraged whenever the Action Skill, adding Frost Damage or additional Frost Damage to attacks from any source. The duration of Rage of the Ancients will not deplete while an Action Skill is active, which proves to be particularly lucrative if the Action Skill is Polymorph.
Players that are looking to create the best Frost damage build in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands should consider using the Brr-Zerker as their primary class with the Spellshot as their secondary, selecting Polymorph as the Action Skill. Regardless of which Action Skill is selected for any multiclass option in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, both class feats will always be accessible. Turning an enemy into a Skeep will instantly activate Rage of the Ancients, and will instantly begin stacking the Frost damage and gun damage that Fatemakers can deal with the right skills selected for this multiclass.
Invest in these Skills Points for the Brr-Zerker tree:
- 5 Ancestral Frost - Frost damage increases.
- 5 Savagery - Melee damage and Enrage duration increase.
- 3 Unyielding - A percentage of missing health regenerates over time, and the rate is doubled when Enraged.
- 2 The Old Ways - Fatemaker deals Bonus damage and has an increase in damage reduction the closer they are to an enemy's location in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
- 3 Ice Breaker - Fatemaker gains increased damage inflicted to enemies that are slowed, and the damage increases the closer they are to being frozen.
- 3 Cold Snap - Movement Speed and Frost efficiency are increased, and the effects are doubled when Enraged.
- 3 Blood Frenzy - With each kill, restore a percentage of Enrage timer and a percentage of maximum health.
- 1 Blast Chill - Whenever Melee damage is inflicted, there is a chance to release a Frost Nova to deal area-of-effect damage.
- 1 Blood of the Fallen - With each kill, the Fatemaker's remaining Action Skill Cooldown is reduced by a percentage. If the Action Skill is currently active, its duration is extended.
Invest in these Skill Points for the Spellshot class tree in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands:
- 5 Spell Sniper - Gain increased Spell Critical Hit chance.
- 3 Magic Bullets - A portion of all bonuses the Fatemaker receives to Spell Damage is applied to their guns.
- 1 Prestidigitation - Gain increased Reload Speed
- 5 Font of Mana - Gain increased Spell Cooldown and Action Cooldown rates.
- 1 Mage Armor - A portion of the Ward is restored for every stack of Spellweaving.
- 1 High Thread Count - Increases the amount of maximum Spellweaving stacks.
- 2 Imbued Weapon - Whenever the Fatemaker casts a Spell, their gun deals bonus damage to that spell's element for a short time. This effect stacks once per spell.
In order to create the best Frost damage build in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, players will need to make the most of weapons, spells, and enchantments that inflict the same type of damage or added benefit. Weapon and spell enchantments in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands come in a variety of effects, including increasing damage with Frost, Spell Skill, Action Skill, Elemental sources, and more. The percentages and types of effects will be different depending on the roll, but since each is randomly generated it's best to find one that synergizes with the build overall. An example would be an enchantment that boosts Spell damage by 40% for 10 seconds after starting the Action Skill.
Specifically for weapons, an SMG or Rifle that deals Frost damage and has a thrown effect are two great weapon options. They can also be used to deal weaker damage to the Polymorph, giving Fatemakers a chance to increase the amount of free spells cast. Additionally, a Frost shotgun works well with this build in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands because of how melee damage is increased to frozen enemies, as well as how damage is reduced and increased when close to enemies as well. The final weapon can be a preference, but a Frost pistol that, when thrown, can spawn a three-headed Hydra that deals additional Frost damage is a huge help.
Lastly, because of the increases in Spell and Frost damage in this build, players should seek a Frosting Blazing Calamity spell, which summons a meteor that explodes into smaller Frost meteorites upon impact. Shooting the Skeep will spawn more meteors as well, and because the Action Skill can be extended upon a kill, Fatemakers will have more opportunities to summon more free Frosting Blazing Calamity spells. In combination with the right Spell and guns in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, this Frost damage build will give Fatemakers the ability to nearly freeze all enemies in place, making it easier to farm bosses and clear more Chaos Chamber levels.
