House of the Dragon's opening credits in the Succession style might just be better than the actual opening. When the highly-anticipated Game of Thrones prequel series premiered this year on August 21 on HBO, viewers were puzzled that it didn't include an opening credits sequence. The next week, House of the Dragon episode 2 would showcase its new title sequence depicting blood streaming through Old Valyria. However, some viewers were still upset that House of the Dragon opted to reuse the Game of Thrones theme song composed by Ramin Djawadi rather than premiering something new.
