Sadie Sink Recalls Emotional Last Day on The Whale with Brendan Fraser

Sadie Sink recalls how emotional the last day filming The Whale was for her. The psychological drama, directed by Darren Aronofsky, tells the story of a lonely English teacher who attempts to reconnect with his estranged daughter, seeking redemption while struggling with obesity and personal trauma. Written by Samuel D. Hunter as an adaptation of his 2012 play of the same name, The Whale premiered on December 9 and has garnered overall positive reactions from critics and audiences alike, with much of the praise surrounding Brendan Fraser’s lead performance. In addition to Sink and Fraser, who play Ellie and Charlie respectively, the film’s cast includes Hong Chau, Ty Simpkins, and Samantha Morton.
