Writer-director Taika Waititi slid into Lin-Manuel Miranda's DMs to praise the songwriter's hit song "We Don't Talk About Bruno." The song premiered in the Jared Bush-directed Encanto, which wasn't entirely successful at the box office but widely so as a streamer on Disney +, becoming the fastest movie to reach 200 million streaming hours on the platform. Even more successful and ubiquitous, however, was the musical's vibrant soundtrack. The film won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film while being nominated for best score and original song. "We Don't Talk About Bruno," becoming a sleeper hit after the film's release, is the longest-reigning chart-topper for Disney in US Billboard Hot 100 history.
Bob Clark's 1974 horror film Black Christmas is one of the most influential slasher movies of all time, and it has an unforgettably chilling ending. In Black Christmas Billy is considered the villain as he picks off victims one by one, and after almost 50 years, his identity is still debated. The story takes place in a sorority house, where the residents are throwing a Christmas party before they depart. Little do they know, however, that a perverted killer has made his way into the house, and is preparing to pick them off one by one. The Billy Black Christmas character remains in the shadows for most of the movie, that is, until the chilling ending.
