Jennette McCurdy explains why she did not return for the iCarly revival. The original iCarly ran for six seasons between 2007 and 2012 on Nickelodeon, becoming a sensation during its time. In 2020, loyal iCarly fans were met with surprise when Paramount+ announced that the show was being rebooted, with season 1 premiering on the service in June 2021.
