The Hills was one of the most popular reality TV shows of all time that aired from 2006 to 2010 before being revived as The Hills: New Beginnings, although it undeniably had many fake moments. While The Hills is iconic in reality TV, its ending revealed just how contrived the genre can be. This has led to many plot lines being exposed for being fake over the years.
