Movie is bringing classic Mario characters and lands to the big screen, including Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Island, which seems to be called the Jungle Kingdom in the animated movie. In Donkey Kong's big-screen debut, he is introduced as the stubborn heir to the Jungle Kingdom. Donkey Kong longs to impress his father, Cranky Kong, the ruler of the Jungle Kingdom and leader of the Kong Army.
