Disney's 2023 Movies Still Have 2 Chances To Beat Super Mario Bros.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie has put Disney to shame, dethroning the studio when it comes to box office success, but Disney still has two chances to win back the crown. The video game movie has become a phenomenal hit, as it broke five box office records in its opening weekend alone, and it became the highest-grossing video game movie of all time just 7 days after its release. The Illumination-developed film will very likely join the billion-dollar club, and as Marvel movies are underperforming, it has a shot of becoming the highest-grossing movie of the year too.
