Disney Still Has A Brilliant Secret Weapon To Combat Super Mario Bros

The Super Mario Bros. Movie has become a blockbuster hit, something that Disney hasn't had for a while, but the House of Mouse has a video game property of its own up its sleeve. The new video game movie has become a phenomenal success, as it broke five opening weekend box office records. It had the highest-grossing Wednesday-Sunday opening weekend ever and is on track to make over a billion dollars. The film's box office success is a blow to Disney, which has struggled at the box office with its recent animated movies.
