What The Flash's Ring Does & Why It's So Important

The new trailer for The Flash showcases Barry Allen's new ring and teases its importance in DC's epic upcoming film. As one of the final projects in the DCEU, The Flash will feature Barry bringing about the reset of the DC Universe, allowing the new DCU to kick off in 2025 with the release of Superman: Legacy. Until then, however, new DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has stated how exciting The Flash is, as the film will see Ezra Miller reprise their role from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, traveling back in time as Barry Allen, a.k.a. the Flash, to prevent his mother's death, with dire consequences.
