Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania producer Stephen Broussard explains the larger MCU implications of the mid-credit scene. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania officially introduces Kang the Conqueror into the MCU as the next major threat for the Avengers, with multiversal and time travel abilities. Two variants of Kang have been explored within the MCU, but the mid-credit scene sets the stage for the astronomical threat he presents with the introduction of The Council of Kangs.
