ATLA's Live-Action Katara Perfectly Embodies Animated Show's Concept Art

Avatar: The Last Airbender star Kiawentiio Tarbell compared to the animated show's concept art proves she is the perfect live-action Katara. A major character in the Nickelodeon animated series, Katara is a waterbender who often acts as the voice of reason within the Avatar gang. The character will return to the screen in Netflix's upcoming live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series, played by Tarbell. While Netflix will be making some changes to Katara, including reportedly changing her age to 16 rather than 14, making her older than her previously elder brother Sokka, Tarbell's casting has earned praise for its accuracy.

One of CBS' newest sitcoms,  Ghosts , features a cast full of spectral characters that each hail from a distinct time period and come with their own unique backstory and death.
