The possibility of The Passion of the Christ 2 finally starting principal photography has inspired troves of Twitter users to poke fun at the religious epic sequel with a slew of fake titles. Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ was released in 2004 to a polarizing reception. Many called it a religious and holy experience, while others decried the excessive violence and what they saw as elements of antisemitism. Nonetheless, the film, which stars Jim Caviezel as Jesus of Nazareth, was a box office hit and grossed over $612 million worldwide, including over $370 million at the domestic box office, making it the highest-grossing R-rated film of all-time, a title it retains to this day.
Bob Clark's 1974 horror film Black Christmas is one of the most influential slasher movies of all time, and it has an unforgettably chilling ending. In Black Christmas Billy is considered the villain as he picks off victims one by one, and after almost 50 years, his identity is still debated. The story takes place in a sorority house, where the residents are throwing a Christmas party before they depart. Little do they know, however, that a perverted killer has made his way into the house, and is preparing to pick them off one by one. The Billy Black Christmas character remains in the shadows for most of the movie, that is, until the chilling ending.
