Movie introduces Mario, Luigi, and the audience to the world of the Mushroom Kingdom, establishing the relationships between the characters, and explaining what motivates Mario's iconic fight with Bowser. The movie also adapts a number of classic Mario games into the movie, including the original platform game, Mario Kart, and Super Smash Bros.
