Warning: Spoilers ahead for Avatar: The Way of Water. While Avatar: The Way of Water’s story worked well, Avatar 3 could make the Avatar sequel even more effective by flipping its plot for the franchise’s next outing. Avatar 3 has a tough act to follow. Not only did Avatar: The Way of Water break a slew of box office records upon its arrival in cinemas, but the sequel also proved once and for all that the original Avatar was as big a cultural moment as its financial performance suggested. In the years after Avatar arrived, it was tough to tell whether co-writer/director James Cameron’s return to Pandora would be met with the same rapturous reception that the original movie enjoyed.
Bob Clark's 1974 horror film Black Christmas is one of the most influential slasher movies of all time, and it has an unforgettably chilling ending. In Black Christmas Billy is considered the villain as he picks off victims one by one, and after almost 50 years, his identity is still debated. The story takes place in a sorority house, where the residents are throwing a Christmas party before they depart. Little do they know, however, that a perverted killer has made his way into the house, and is preparing to pick them off one by one. The Billy Black Christmas character remains in the shadows for most of the movie, that is, until the chilling ending.
