Girls5Eva is renewed for a season 3 and will move from Peacock to Netflix. Created by The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt's Meredith Scardino, and produced by 30 Rock's Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, the musical-comedy debuted on the streaming platform in May 2021 under distributor NBCUniversal. Shortly after its premiere, favorable audience and critical reception led to Girls5Eva being picked up for a season 2, which aired a year later in May 2022.
