During Act 2, a Shadow Curse inflicts the land, preventing you from progressing through certain areas in Baldur's Gate 3. If you try to go through, you will suffer a massive amount of damage, and even with a quick solution, you will have to deal with thicker walls of this blight later on. However, you can circumvent the Shadow Curse by using sources of light and the right spells to move through these lands.
