Originally appearing in the series because of his difficulty in creating lasting, meaningful relationships, Shawn made it to the end of Lana's retreat despite finding it a bit difficult at times. For Shawn, learning how to get in touch with his innermost self was a gift that has kept on giving, bringing him all sorts of opportunities since his time at the retreat. With a new outlook on life, Shawn has been able to make lasting progress.
