The Real Meaning Behind Tom's Scorpion Gift In Succession

WARNING! This article contains SPOILERS for Succession season 4, episode 7, "Tailgate Party."Tom's scorpion gift to Shiv in Succession may seem random, but there is a meaning behind it. One of the major sources of drama throughout Succession has been the unsteady marriage between Shiv and Tom. Things come to a head when Shiv asks Tom for a divorce in Succession season 4, though the pair seemed to have reconciled in season 4, episode 6. However, Tom's gift is foreshadowing bad times to come for the couple.
